Learn to dance – part 1 Seen a little boy On the city streets Seen a little girl Back on her feet Seen a big black car Champagne and caviar Seen a stolen car Right off the junkyard Seen all my life In a little glance Well I recognize I should have learned to dance
2.
Last light on earth You’ve had bruises, kicks on that pretty ass You have stumbled upon the wrong men I guess You have known all the pain that the world can give But girl you still burn like the last light on earth Girl you still burn like the last light on earth You had choices, different ways to go But you always end up stuck in the middle of the road Like a dog who smells the bone but he can’t find none But girl you still burn like the last light on earth Girl you still burn like the last light on earth Did your father know? Did your father know? That you were just a girl on her knees? In the nighttime right before you go to sleep All your fears they come up and fill the space into your head You reach for the pills upon your drawer You fall asleep and dream of the last light on earth You fall asleep and dream of the last light on earth Sleep tight my darlin’, you’re the last light on earth
3.
Fireworks Fireworks, fireworks won’t you shine upon my house tonight? Fireworks, fireworks won’t you light the sky upon my house tonight? I can hear you exploding over the hills Fireworks, fireworks won’t you light the night into my heart tonight? Fireworks, fireworks won’t you shine a light into my home tonight? I can see you burning over the hills Fireworks, fireworks I’ll be waiting here for you to come tonight Fireworks, fireworks listen to this song and shine for her tonight

Aberdeen Midnight Bobby asked Billy The Queen “Where can I get a diamond ring?” alright Little Light Janey was down on her knees went to take a walk on top of the hill The sun may shine or the rain fall in, nothing ever happens in Aberdeen – alright Out in the field where her body was found, Richard The Priest dug a hole in the ground – alright You can’t blow away what is hidden inside, what should be done you can never decide The sun may shine or the rain fall in, nothing ever happens in Aberdeen – alright Willy The Bone took Maria for his wife, they built a big house to begin a new life The house went on fire, Maria got mad, Willy stood crying with a gun in his hand Charlie The Dog went away with a spoon they found his dead body in the afternoon Shotgun Jimi with his rifle at hand took the car to where the night didn’t end No matter if the sun shines or the rain falls in, nothing ever happens in Aberdeen – alright Johnny The Saint wrote a letter to God asking advice on how to leave this world God wrote back it didn’t matter to him, the rope he would use it could be thick or be thin Cemetery Pat killed two birds with a stone, lit a cigarette and took a piss on their bones Fair is foul and foul is fair*, three witches on the road they were combing their hair * William Shakespeare, Macbeth, 1.1.11-12.

Way Out Across the Border They were walking in the street They were so close to me When he said “Where you’re going?” She just smiled and said “Way out across the border Where the city skies are blue And life is worth living Way out across the border” So she took a ride and went away Left all what she could not save Then she asked herself “Am I wrong, am I wrong, am I wrong?” But went ahead Way out across the border Where the city skies are blue And life is worth living Way out across the border Life was fine and she found a man And they had a baby One night she said “John don’t you understand How happy I am, how happy I am” Way out across the border Where the city skies are blue And life is worth living Way out across

Every morning I give up I want to dance all night I’m gonna treat you right I want to stay forever easy and true I want to suck this life I want to spill my brains I need to break the chains I don’t want to live a life in vain But every morning, comes the morning, every morning I give up But every morning, comes the morning, every morning I give up I want to kiss the sky And never say goodbye To those things I love And blow away what’s tearing me apart I want to drive all night In a foreign land I want to make a stand I want to see what happens in the end But every morning, comes the morning, every morning I give up But every morning, comes the morning, every morning I give up

Won't Let Go (free) 03:51
Won’t let go You loose your mind upon the TV shows each night You’ve been around enough to see That nothing’s like it used to be The darkness falls upon your pretty home And all you know is that you won’t let go And all you know is that you won’t let go You went to war against yourself you didn’t even loose You cry alone in the parking lot Where nothing can be seen or said You suck the air up high the sky turns black And all you know is that you won’t let go And all you know is that you won’t let go The sunlight brakes upon the streets One more day it’s all the same The girl behind the counter makes A smile and waves goodbye, goodbye And all you know is that you won’t let go And all you know is that you won’t let go

Learn to dance – part 2 What are you waiting for? What have you done before? Are you strong enough? Are you scared enough? Is it flash and bones? Or there’s something more? Is it heart and soul? Or concrete and stone? Is it better with you? Or with someone else? What does mean more? What does mean less?
